Indianapolis Public Schools: Review of IPS Police Department Operations and Activities

Abstract

n the fall of 2015, Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) requested the assistance of researchers at the Indiana University Public Policy Institute in conducting a review of IPS Police Department operations. The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of the types of activities performed by IPS Police personnel and to identify opportunities for internal and external collaborations related to IPS Police duties and responsibilities.
