Health care reform is sweeping our nation. The system is in crisis as costs continue to escalate and the number of people with little or no health insurance continues to grow. In many states, governors are tackling the problem with proposals to cover the uninsured and underinsured. One example, of course, is our newly passed Indiana Check-Up Plan, funded in part by the 44-cent cigarette tax increase that has recently taken effect. The one constant across the nation in dealing with this problem is that there is no quick fix. It will take time and sacrifice by all to repair our health care system.en_US
