In 2013 in Indiana, there were 193,013 total collisions reported by law enforcement officers—an increase of 4,172 from 2012. Among total collisions, 703 were classified as fatal, resulting in 777 fatalities. An additional 45,300 persons were known to be injured. This report provides driver-level information, including the number of licensed drivers by age group and the number by age group involved in crashes, and county-level information. The county-level information includes a map depicting the location of each collision involving a fatal injury; and data for collisions, injuries, and property damage by month and municipality; restraint use; and alcohol-impaired collisions.en_US
