dc.description.abstractPer capita income is a measure of an area's economic performance. Per capita income in Indiana is only 86 percent of the national level. This brief examines the components of per capita income and some factors that affect it. Trends over the past 40 years provide insight into the origins of Indiana's per capita income gap.en_US
