This report summarizes findings from key informant interviews conducted by CCJR researchers in the fall of 2011 as part of an Indiana crime and justice data assessment . These interviews enabled researchers to incorporate the perspectives of a diverse set of individuals from a variety of backgrounds in state and local government, nonprofit organizations, and private consulting firms. While these findings represent only a snapshot of the current crime and justice data-sharing environment in Indiana, participants provided valuable information to researchers on current Indiana data collection efforts, data needs and priorities, data sharing policies and procedures, and potential obstacles and incentives to building a statewide crime and justice data-sharing collaboration.en_US
