| dc.description.abstract | In 2010, a total of 192,890 traffic collisions were reported in Indiana by law enforcement. Of those, 6.2 percent involved a large truck. Of the 701 fatal collisions in Indiana, 105 involved a large truck. The majority of large truck collisions occurred in urban areas and during weekdays. The number of large trucks involved in Indiana collisions increased 15 percent from 2009 to 2010. | en_US |
